On 13th of September 2013 the Montan Spedition celebrated its 40-years anniversary together with more than 200 guests from all over Europe.

As part of the celebration an absolute world first was introduced to the guests, namely a new MOntan COntainer, the so called "MOCO-Triple". It is a special container that can be stacked 3 high while transported on rail when it's empty. In order to deal with the larger number of containers at the Montan Terminal, the Montan Spedition had purchased a new 45 Tons-Rach Stacker, which was presented to the audience at the celebration together with the new MOCO-Triple-Containers.

A special present had been prepared by the Rail Cargo Austria-Group (RCA). RCA-CEO Mr. Drs. Erik Regter presented the astonished guests a Taurus-Locomotive with its own Montan Spedition-Branding, which will be mainly used on the Southern Railway ("Südbahn").
